The Girls Varsity Golf team’s season came to a end on Saturday, October 19 after seventeen matches and qualifying for the State Meet.

Also among these highlights was a third place finish in the LVC.

Marina Zaremba said, “I couldn’t have asked for a better team or better teammates and support.”

Zaremba, and Senior Katie Mallory were typically the team’s top scorers. Mallory and Emilie Nussbaum earned All-Conference Recognition this year, which means they were consistently in the top 16.

Zaremba’s lowest score for an eighteen-hole game was a ninety, and for a nine-hole game, it was a forty-three.

Mallory’s best score for an eighteen-hole is seventy- six, and thirty-five for a nine-hole.

Mallory has recently signed to play golf at Spring Arbor next year. “I’m hoping it goes really well, we’re getting ready with a new workout program and that sort of thing so hopefully I can be ready to compete at the college level,” Mallory said.

The girls’ season may have come to an end, but the team is looking forward to coming back strong next year.
