LaMelo Ball Goes Down With Foot Injury
According to ESPN, potential Warriors draft pick LaMelo Ball has been sidelined for up to four weeks with a bruised foot. The injury is not currently thought to be severe and should not impact his status as the potential first overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Fadeaway World has also reported that the Cleveland Cavaleirs are scouting Ball. Lamelo is currently averging 17 points, 7 assists, and 7 reasons in Australia’s NBL.
Wentz Leads Clutch Drive As Crapshoot For the NFC East Continues
The Eagles defeated the Redskins 37-27 to tie the Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East as they have both accumulated a .500 of 7-7. Wentz somehow managed to throw for almost three hundred yards and three touchdowns, including an absolute dime to rookie Miles Sanders in the back of the endzone. Wentz is playing with a bare-bones receiver corps, but if they somehow beat the Giants and Cowboys, then they will enter the NFL playoffs for the third straight season.
Yankees Sign Pitcher To Record Nine Year Contract
The Evil Empire of baseball is back at it again. After another failed attempt to make it to the MLB World Series, the Yankees reportedly signed former Astros pitcher Gerrit Cole to a record breaking nine year, $324 million dollar deal according to several sources including ESPN and CNN. This was only days after Stephen Strasburg signed a record breaking deal with the Washington Nationals. Cole finished in the top five of the American League Cy Young Award finalists and was considered the biggest reason behind the Houston Astros’ success this past season.
Lamar Jackson Breaks Single Season Rushing Record For Quarterbacks
Another day, another jaw dropping performance from Lamar Jackson. Except this time it was even more special than usual. In fact it was record breaking. On this past Thursday, December, 12, Lamar Jackson broke the NFL single season rushing record for a quarterback. Former record holder and controversial former quarterback Michael Vick congratulated Jackson on his performance on a video published by TMZ.
Heat Guard Dion Waiters Suspended For Third Time This Season
Dion Waiters of the Miami Heat has reportedly been suspended for a violation of team rules according to Bleacher Report. Well the article did not go into specifics of Waiter’s latest incident, it did say that he was suspended for violating team rules in addition to continuous insubordination. Waiters is yet to play this season.
