SLEHS’ International Club is a club dedicated to demonstrating and spreading awareness of the cultural differences between East’s students and encouraging respect towards cultural differences. This club is student-led, meaning that you are encouraged to discuss your ideas with the other students of the club. One thing of focus will be hosting fundraisers to acquire things to make the school a better place.
Last year, they made a giant banner saying welcome in many different languages. This year, they are looking to raise funds to buy flags of countries in order to proudly display them and represent the kids who may come from those countries.
They meet every other Monday from 2:30-3:30, in room 3418. Everybody and anybody who wants to join is welcome!
