The South Lyon Hungry Howies is looking for new workers on 513 Lafayette Street.
Barry Robinson, the owner, is always looking for new people to join the team.
An important thing to running a good establishment is having a good work environment for employees.
He said, “Make people feel comfortable in the place. If your employees don’t like being there, you’re not going to have employees.”
This is a fast food restaurant so it is not a fancy environment with a lot of amenities but Robinson gives as many as he can.
Robinson says, “I try to give them stuff like water sweeteners and just joke and talk with them.”
All of these actions and extra things make a much more comfortable environment for the workers.
Hungry Howies also has many deals for pizzas and is coming out with new items frequently.
Ayden Robinson, Barrie’s son, confirms this, “We get new food on the menu pretty frequently, but not enough to be overwhelming to learn to make.”
This gives customers a wide variety of items to choose from and gives the same options to the workers–workers can make themselves food for free!
Applying for a fast food job is not hard and this goes for Hungry Howies. As long as you have a resume and good communication skills, you would likely get hired.
One of the Managers, Ethan Schmitt agrees, “Barry thought I was a good fit and I applied. I mean, it’s fast food, they aren’t that picky.”
If someone has the dedication and wants to be a part of this work environment they will surely get a fair chance. This pizza place is always ready to welcome new members.
