About Us

BeastNews is a combination of student-focused publications that deliver information to the SLEHS community. Each entity is a member of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) and aims to showcase high quality journalism across multiple platforms.

Our news program, WSLE, is focused on delivering information every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Our website, beastnews.org is focused on publishing multimedia. Here you can find podcasts, full stories, and more.

And finally, The East Edition is our magazine. A new edition usually is published each semester.

Editorials are the majority opinion of the editorial board and don’t exactly reflect the opinions of those of staff, administration/faculty, or the student body. Signed letters to the editor with a maximum of 250 words are welcome, and they can be delivered to room 3208 or emailed to [email protected] for publication.
