Cougars, join us on the 8th against Walled Lake Nothern’s Knights and serve a more chivalrous cause with the autism acceptance varsity football game.
Food trucks of the evening will be Impasta, Hero or Villain, and Frios Popsicles, serving from 5:30 to 7:30. Get some food, with half of total proceeds supporting Fredi the Pizzaman Foundation and half to Salem Elementary.
Salem, this year’s selected payout, is in need of new sensory equipment for their special needs students, so 50% of this event’s proceeds are returning directly to the community of those who may struggle with autism.
Additionally, a donation drive will be held during the first and second quarter of the game, as well as dime drives at the end.
The game itself begins at 7 p.m., with re-entry permitted for about 30 minutes or until the food trucks depart. Tickets can be purchased now for $5 here or at the entryway to the event.
