Softball season is creeping up on the Cougars, starting on March 10, 2025. The softball team at South Lyon East consists of a Varsity and a Junior Varsity team. Last year, the Cougs were undefeated towards the end of their season so many have very high hopes for 2025.

 Sophmore Jordan Marth says, “If someone wants to start doing softball, I would just say to go with it because everyone on the team is so supportive and last year was my first year and I loved playing so much! You can embarrass yourself however many times you want and nobody will ever judge you for it. 

Lady Cougs started playing softball for a variety of reasons: it’s been a childhood sport, a favorite sport to watch, and more. Sophomore Alexis Fiddes says ,“I did softball because I’ve been playing since middle school and I decided to join the team at my school. I am so happy that I did because I completely fell in love with it! I was being pushed to do better at practices and I was having so much fun with what I was doing.”
